TASTING: The Prussian

A new take on the classic Margaret River variety from an old block of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1978. This 1.4 Ha east facing site is positioned on a sloping hill made up of a mixture of gravelly duplex and grey sandy loams soils.
This wine is a collaboration Rosa Glen Farm and the surrounding community that helped guide us through our first growing season and vintage.
Harvested April 2023, naturally fermented and aged in new oak for 12 months.
The Prussian has a dark berry palate, with hints of cinnamon, oak and vanilla. Drink now or cellar for up to 5 years.Â
